Bellenden Ker State School is situated in the foothills of Mount Bellenden Ker, 12km north of Babinda. The school operates a single, multi-age classroom with students in attendance ranging from Prep to Year 7. Students are provided with opportunities to feel and achieve success in an environment where they are challenged and supported by a small, professional school staff. It is the mission of our school to foster educational achievement and development as a human being, by active participation in a comfortable, stimulating environment, which is responsive to the needs of each individual and the society they will enter. Our school offers a full curriculum where knowing and understanding each student's needs has developed a culture of hard work and achievement. Progress is recorded and monitored and this is used to extend each individual at our school. We encourage parental involvement and value the community of which we are a part.
